The founder, CEO and President of Corps Medical Supply, LLC, is John J. Bussa, M.D.
Dr. Bussa is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. He spent six years in the Artillery with assignments in Germany and combat duty in the Republic of VietNam.
He was selected by the Army Surgeon General to attend medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, completed an ophthalmology residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and served as an ophthalmologist and Director of the Department of Surgery at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina.
Dr. Bussa retired from the U.S. Army as a Lieutenant Colonel. Following military retirement, Dr. Bussa established a private practice in Wisconsin. For over twenty-five years he has provided state of the art care with skill and compassion. He is nationally recognized by manufacturers and colleagues as an early adaptor of new technology. He frequently speaks at national meetings on incorporating this new technology into the management of medical and surgical patient care.
Dr. Bussa’s service includes being a member of the United States Military Academy’s Corps of Cadets, his combat service with the XXIV Corps Artillery, and delivery of care as a member of the Army Medical Corps.
The name Corps Medical Supply is meant to recognize the rich heritage of the Corps and carry on those values.
